It has been my honor to be your assessor since being appointed by Governor Nixon to fill the remaining three years of the term of my predecessor upon her resignation. In the first two years I have worked hard to restore confidence and trust that every taxpayer will be treated equally and fairly. During these challenging times I have made it my goal to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and courtesy to all that we serve in this office.

Achievements in office

• Cut waste and spending in the Christian County Assessor’s office as well as eliminating significant unnecessary expenses to County general revenue.
• Created assessor website providing taxpayers online filing of annual personal property assessment lists and access to complete real estate property information 24 hours/day
• Increased accuracy and efficiency of operations
• Greatly improved GIS mapping services and updated aerial photography
• Reduced unfair assessments to provide equal and fair treatment of taxpayers
